NDRL & Nostalgia Super Stock Announce Strategic Partnership
Two successful programs build on their relationship while creating room for independent growth.
The Nostalgia Drag Racing League (NDRL) and Nostalgia Super Stock (NSS) are pleased to announce a strategic partnership for the 2027 season, building on two successful years of racing together.
NSS has brought strong competition, professionalism, and an enthusiastic group of racers to NDRL events. Beginning in 2027, NDRL and NSS will operate as separate and independent organizations, each maintaining its own identity, leadership, direction, and competitive program.
As part of this new partnership, NSS is expected to compete at three to four select NDRL events during the 2027 season. At these events, the organizations will work together to provide racers and fans with the same quality competition and camaraderie they have enjoyed over the past two seasons.
NSS will operate its own championship program and will not be part of the NDRL Championship Points Series. This structure allows both organizations to pursue their individual goals while continuing to collaborate at select events and support the future of nostalgia drag racing.
“I feel this is an ideal solution for both the NSS and the NDRL. We will continue racing together at select events while giving each organization room to grow in a way that supports its own core values.”
— Shane Lile, Vice President, NDRL
“For the past two years, the NSS has brought fierce competition and professionalism to the NDRL. Both organizations’ racers and fans have enjoyed watching us come together with mutual respect and a passion for racing. Our strategic partnership will ensure both of our futures in the drag racing world.”
— Chris Crady, President, NDRL
“The NSS class is really looking forward to a partnership and working together with the NDRL. By working side by side, the NDRL and the NSS PRO Series will collaborate to ensure this partnership benefits both groups as we look forward to the 2027 season.”
— Doug Duell, DLD Motorsports
Both organizations view this partnership as a positive next step in a relationship built on mutual respect and a shared passion for nostalgia drag racing. While NDRL and NSS will move forward as independent organizations, they remain committed to working together at select events where the partnership benefits their racers, fans, sponsors, and tracks.
Additional details, including the select 2027 NDRL events featuring NSS, will be announced as schedules are finalized.
